Taking a break

I was reading in the Harvard Business Review this morning and came across this funny cartoon that kinda reminded me of my post from yesterday. :)

It also reminded me of a conversation I had with Dane a couple of days ago when he told me that I needed to work on having "gears other than 5th and park" and that's been a struggle for me. I'm a work hard - play hard sort of person and I'm not saying that's bad or that I'm trying to change who I am but I think I need to be able to function better in the middle...if not for myself then for those around me.

David,
Hang in there. Eat comfort food. Sleep in. Go visit your parents and while you are gone, get your car detailed and have your cleaning service organize your closet and stock your fridge with Stoffer's French Bread Pizza and milk. Eat your Mom's favorite recipe and sleep in your old bed. Then come back and enjoy your success and don't let those French people bother you. UK will forgive you as well. You are a great 'YOUNG" man and deserve a break. PS I watched 'In Style Celebrity Weddings" tonight and I thought I spotted you (ninja style) a couple of times. Were any of those your weddings?
