A Revolution.

I think of OSP as much more than a forum - more than a community - even more than the wonderful family of friends it has become. OSP is a REVOLUTION. It's a complete (and quite radical) shift in how people used to go about their art, their business and even their life... and it's incredible to see how quickly everyone has adopted this new mindset and have experienced the joy and success that comes from living with an attitude of ambundance and sharing all that you have!

Robert Kiyosaki in his book Rich Dad Poor Dad said, "When it comes to love, happiness, sales, and contacts first give what you want and it will come back in droves."

So in more DJ type language - OSP just ROCKS! There's really no other way to put it and to see 100 people come out for two days of hanging out, learning, shooting, and simply playing together is just awesome! ...and of course in true "Open Source" fashion this whole shindig was free! Wow! That's REALLY incredible!

...and a special thank you to everyone who put so much time and energy into making this happen. To be honest I can't even name all the people who put in time and energy to make this such a wonderful couple of days but I know that Garrett and Joy Nudd, Amber and Nathan Holritz, and the team from Lacour did a fantastic job giving and sharing and once again they did it all for free because they truly believe in the value of sharing ideas and building a community based on giving.

...and I know that many of you couldn't come and so if ya'll (I've temporarily adopted the southern accent ;) want let's do more of these next year! I think one get together a year isn't nearly enough!

I love you all and thank you for being the most amazing people, photographers and lovecats so keep giving and be blessed!

Yours,
DJ

You are such a great leader DJ. The fruit of it is now those who've benefitted are now leading others in the same way they were led ... osp is now officially an adjective because of what you've created.

2 more things ... i'm totally jealous I wasn't there ... looking at the picture just made me miss you guys incredibly ... and second, does amber still have a cast on her arm? :)

Hey there! I'm always jealous when I see how you all are able to meet and learn from one another (but of course happy that you are able to at the same time!) When are you coming to visit your northern brethren in Canada?! We'd love to have you come join us. I'm sure you'd love it!
