I love celebrating and I need very little reason to party but today is it for me.
Easter is my independence day.
I've never felt so much freedom in my life as I do right now. In the past I've let myself be controlled by my business, by relationships, by money, by expectations, by other companies, essentially by my sin...but this Easter was a staggering reminder that it's done. Paid for. Dealt with...which leaves me free.
Truly free.
So I sit here smiling from ear to ear remembering what Christ did for me. It's gnarly. Yes. But it's beautiful and he wants us to rejoice in it.
So let this next year bring a hope and freedom that only God can bring.

I appreciate my life fully. I have three beautiful kids, I have love, I have my passion, place to live,... etc. When I read your post I felt your freedom, your happiness and as I am sagittarius - a very freedom liking sign - I know I am missing it in my life. I am from Poland, still not having green card, I don't have car license - stuck at home, or going somewhere always only my husband can. Struggles with money from the day we came here to live. Anyway I know one day my freedom will come and like a bird I will discover new free life... flying. Your life is very inspiring for others !

you know it is simply amazing to stop and ponder on the miracle that is Jesus Christ. Willingly giving up his life for a sinner like me... I am so unworthy of such great love!

This is so great DJ! I am trying to learn controlling over my life with allowing Jesus to have more of me and not have so much of my life he so robotic. It is a good thing with having set things to do on certain dates & being on time but sometimes we do get so caught up. I am looking forward to Easter 2010 already to see what Christ will do in the next year!!

It's amazing how giving up one's freedom to follow God can bring such freedom.
