No Phone

I am so dumb. I left my phone charger in SB so I'm sorry but I don't have a phone right now...I'm going to search around all day tomorrow until I find one though because I need my email....it's my only contact with the outside world.

Check at the desk of a local Hotel. EVERYBODY leaves their chargers in hotel rooms. They will probably bring out a big box of misc. chargers and you could get one for free! It works because I've done it!

Look on the brightside! It can be good to shut off your phone and get away sometimes, ya know? Have a safe trip back tomorrow! If you're ever in Nashville after mid-August lemme know! I'm down there for school!

I don't know much about it and have no experience with it myself... but I think a few days without your phone and email would count as a "real vacation."

Hey David Jay! It's Nick, one of the new and happy members of this blogger.I noticed in one of the previous blogs that you'd purchased new equipment. I'm a film shooter who's ready to switch to digital but can't afford the much higher end cameras I'd prefer, like the 5D.Can a photographer be successful today starting with a camera like the 30D? Will the quality be compromised?

Having the phone off was good for me :)

Sarah - I'll be in TN at the beginning of August! Will you be there!!!

Nick - Yea! The 30d and the 20d are awesome cameras! I shot my whole last wedding with my 30d and it was great and I shot the wedding before that with my 5d and I love them all. Canon makes the best gear out there and so definitely pick up a 30d and start firing away. I shot 40+ weddings on a 10d and everything came out great and the 30d is way better than that. Rock on!
