Great weekend

Yesterday was homecoming for Westmont and it was fun to go out and watch the guys pull out another victory in the last ten minutes. This time they won on a penalty and the last game I watched they won with three minutes left after a ball deflected of one of the other teams defenders resulting in an own goal! Seems like luck is on their side! At the game I saw 7 couples who's weddings I had shot! Crazy!

I even got out there and kicked it around a bit with the alumni which was fun.
Then last night I had a bunch of friends over for another game of Cashflow. This game is so good for gaining a better understanding of money and how to get out of the "Rat Race" so if you've never played it find somebody who has it or buy a copy and starting moving towards financial literacy.

Right now I see lots of finger pointing about the economy and this and that but what we all need to do is to take responsibility over our future and there is no way we are gonna get out of this mess if we don't start educating ourselves in this area.

Sounds like you had a blast!
You're definitely right, we need to take responsibility with our future and learn from the mistakes now. That way when the future comes, we will know to better handle it by learning from the past.
Ciao!

Might need to pull that game out when we're up there next. I could always use some education on money :)

that was a blast. sorry you got downsized and weren't able to make any investments the whole game. that must have sucked :)

people should know that they don't have to buy a copy to play! there are tons of groups in thousands of cities that they can join and play with other people. you can find info on richdad.com

Amen Deeje on the need for financial education!! We played this recently too and while some moan and groan about it (it IS a very long game to play) others are psyched for the next round.

I've played a game like this! It's fun. I got totally wasted by the people I was playing with though... I think I was too slow, haha:) Good learning experience.

Does the game "Twister" count?

The PC version of the game is equally good, complete with sound effects, and if you've got some time on your hands alone can always play against the computer. (not as much fun but good for learning)!

Hey DJ

Glad to hear you are a fan of CashFlow. A bunch of my friends our wives play at least once every 2 months. My wife and I make a great team...now we are trying to introduce the game to our daughter.
