I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and got to spend some time with family and friends!
I've been at home in AZ reminiscing with my folks and going through some old tapes so I thought I'd pass along some Christmas memories from 1987.
Click here for a special David Jay introduction by my big brother Jon Jay.
Click here to hear what I was up to in 1987 and to hear a special acapella solo by me and I even got my first camera this Christmas!
*spins around like a tornado* - now i see what all the hype is about! loved the song and the verse too!
How precious! From the mouths of a babe...This is the day that the Lord hath made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it....so cute. Thanks for sharing! And merry Christmas!
haha awwww DJ that was so cute. :) lol
"Computer" is still a sight word for me. My second favorite part was when your dad taped it, you were seven and I was out on a date in high school.
My most favorite part was your brother given some honest affection. Leave it to a Biola guy to tell the truth in love. Awesome!
"well, he's a very nice kid when he acts like it".
wow, that was soooo awesome! those are profound words right there. lol. for some reason that just struck me as being hilariously funny tonight when i heard it. good stuff.
merry christmas dj. i've learned a LOT from you this year sorta...indirectly through your blog, and through the various books you've suggested. i'll consider that help a total christmas present!
YEAH!! 1987 rocked!!! lol!
That was the cutest thing ever!! Wow.
That is hilarious that so many of the things that you were saying in there you did when you got older, photography, soccer goalie, etc.
See...I always new you could sing!!! LOL! :)
LOL, I am still trying to picture your face with that cute little voice! hahaha ;-) I am so glad that you were able to be with your family at Christmas! Safe travels back!
AWW!!! thats soooooo cute!!
Yeah! I wanna see pics from that age! your voice is soooo cute!!:)
I never knew that you sang!!
When you come in you'll have to sing that for us!
Yo Mark! :) I wish I could. Unfortunately I am under strict regulations as to how often I can do private performances like that. Again, I'm sorry but I'm sure you understand.
Ah man! Brings back memories of making tapes for family back in the States when we lived in Japan growing up! My dad used to put on this whole production with Christmas music and an intro by the fam... Hilarious!
You know what's funny, you talk just like that now, except with a deeper voice. Listen to that then listen to one of your tutorials, you have the same inflections and pauses. Hope you had a merry Christmas in Phoenix!
DJ-You don't know me and I only know you through your blog and website but I have to say that sharing things like that make people feel like they know you so much better...it was very cute and funny! Some of your "Challenging" words are still challenging for me!
its true!! you really do still talk the same...of course with a deeper tone...but its really funny! thanks for sharing :)
You girls are too funny! I have some more audio clips to put up soon. :) So fun!
