David Jay Media Group

For the past year I've been pretty curious about why I've only been offering photos and albums and the typical things that people have been offering their clients forever. The answer is that it's pretty easy to do the same old thing over and over but to be honest I'm bored of it and being a photographer is great but I think I want to offer people more. I'll be partnering with other types of media professionals to see how cool of stuff we can put together for my clients. Brett Austin who's my videographer and programmer for one of our Showit projects put together this video from the wedding in Palm Springs.

Awesome work DJ. Especially love the work at the end. And you are right, presentations like this really wow the clients and sell your imagery.

BTW: I won't tell Gary that you didn't have a Whaletail:)

:) Excited to see you too Mary!

Ron - I think the Whaletail and LS are brilliant for getting nice soft light and I had the LS with me but didn't need to do any portraits inside which is when I use it the most.

Nice sir!

Have to say the average video coverage makes your images really pop! Great images!

We should start a post that pulls more ideas like this into the mix...I posted on my blog not long ago about the industry moving to video cameras, guess you never know what is just around the corner?!?

DJ-Any chance that you can comment on showit being able to integrate video as well as the still's in the future...and with a 16x9 format?

HA!...Feels like I am asking Santa for an early present.

Again, great job on the vid...it's worth a second and third view.

That was great! Don't take this as an insult David, but sometimes I forget you're a photographer. I am so used to other blogs posting their sessions and what have you, frequently, but it isn't often I see your work. So watching that video was totally rad, and you're images shone! Great to see you're recent work!

This is great!! Was this created with Showit, incorporating both the video and stills? Is there info out there how to do so?

:)

Hey Melissa :)

A video guy put this together but we're hoping to be able to use video in Showit Web sometime next year.
