On my way
I'm in Chicago on my way to the Alive Festival in Ohio and I am so excited! I've never been to a big music festival like this and I wish I could stay the whole week but unfortunately I can only stay for one day. My friend Crystal that I met when through Missy Carl invited me out there and I just can't wait to get there. I LOVE the Christian music industry and if I wasn't doing wedding photography I would definitely be involved in that industry.

Do BOTH DJ!! You could think of some crazy awesome idea to make the lives of musicians easier and be famous not only in the photo commuity but the christian music circuit too!

My wife was involved in young life with Ryan Wilkins. She shot the cover of his very first homeade cd their name was Floyd Dallas. Anyway, it jump started our career in photography cause a couple years later we shot the wedding of the guitar player. Anyway, great guy.
Also, Thirst Relief International is going to have a very strong presence at the Alive Festival and dj's video that he produced for Thirst will be played right before Mercy Me and Relient K go on mainstage. Pretty cool.
DJ you are part of the music industry!! You're the BG's publicist! Remember??? lol!!

Make sure you don't wear good shoes there cause it gets kind of muddy if it rains.
Take lots of pictures... you should ask Crystal to get you a back stage pass so you can shoot stuff for Kathy. I will email Crystal now and see if she can.

Its so awsoem how many of these have sprung up recently. I even have one here in my hometown now called Beyond the Song, focues soley on worship. I remember when there was only Cornerstone and Creation.
I can't believe I logged on and you are talking about Christian music festivals. I just got word that my friends "Kids in the Way" will be playing "Inside Out Soul Fest" along with lots of other great bands. My friends are Maeve and you can find their site on my blog, which I would love for you to all check out too. I am dropping plugs all over the place:) to sum it up...
