I've been trying to downsize my carry on a bit and these new Shure SE
420 headphones are awesome and take up only a fraction of the space
that my Bose headphones take up. I also have opted to simply bring the
iPhone instead of a phone and an iPod.
I wonder what other areas of my life contain things that I'm
"carrying" around but don't really need.
Are you weighing yourself down with technology, toys, people or even
beliefs that should be left behind? This is a good time of year to get
back to asking yourself those all important WHY questions!

your philosophies and your preaching about downsizing makes you sound like a bit of a KNOB. A bit of an arrogant smarty pants. A bit of a wankah.
Is your life SO empty that you have to fill it by taking crappy photographs (aren't you a pro?) of headphones and then posting it on the net? Perhaps you should spend more time working on keeping a girlfriend than on telling people to downsize - what works for you may infact not work for everyone else.

Why are you so mean Shooter. DJ does what he does and people listen to what works for them, if you don't like the contents on here why do you waste so much time here. Find another board man or make your own. You are such a Grinch! Be nice, ok, don't steal a brother's joy.
I love this time of year for the same reasons, time to refocus and rethink the past year a bit. Lots of change coming this year and I'm happy about it.

Of course it bums me out when people attack my life's work but I'm just doing my best to help others ...and it's my belief that if I continue to pursue that and help enough people then I will experience a lot of joy in my life.

DJ do whatever your doing and you know at the end that everyone listen's and enjoy eveyy post you make , what a nice person this sharpshooter I cannot even access her profile so I can reply to her.
SS, if you don't like the blog and DJ... Why not stay away and don't look? Nobody is making you do anything and your rude and negative complaint is uncalled for. What happened to "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"?
Yeah! I LOVE this part of the year because of those awesome "why" questions we start to ask ourselves! It really helps so much to get refocused and concentrating on EXACTLY what we are supposed to be doing!!
BTW..I gave my mom a whole outsourcing sermon this morning...and I think I talked her into getting a maid and a cook! haha!:)

that is so weird! I just started using the Bose on-ear headphones and ditched my Shures! Well I didn't ditch them I left them at the gym!
So if you're not using the Bose headphones you want to give 'em to me? :) LOL!
