Freebie from the Freedom Club

Are you as passionate today as you were the day you started your business? If you are great! If you're like many of us the passion can come and go at times and here I talk about how to stay excited and passionate about what we do.

funny.... this kinda stuff typically I just am like... yeah, ok... whatever, but I actually wrote it down on my to-do list to figure out what takes away my passion... I've been less and less passionate lately because of the amount of work this all is.

Also getting amped reading "The 4 Hour Work Week"

I'll send over your check. Just kidding! DJ, I'm so glad I've been able to help you get just a little more free. When I find a way to get myself more free, I am coming to SB for some R&R!

Great food for thought!

I hate carrying my bag too--Jess you there?! :)

Passion can be a good thing, or it can be a bad thing. I think when God started showing me what I was good at and what I was created for, it was the most awesome experience ever. I felt very excited and passionate, but it wasn't like anything that I've experienced before.

I've felt consumed by an idea or vision before, but this is different; God doesn't wear me out!

Thanks for this - I was laughing and nodding my head when you were talking about being SO excited and then taking a nap!! Not!

Keep up the good work!

Can I/how can I post this on my blog? It's exactly how I'm feeling right now and i love it! I couldn't go to sleep last night for the same reason. I'm also losing weight because I'm too excited to eat regularly. :)

Right on!! It's also so much about spacing everything out so that you don't get burned out! I'm so glad I'm not shooting 50+ weddings a year..cause doing that, anyone would get burned out super fast even if it was they're greatest passion!

Love the hat! haha!

SO True! In one of my first meeting with my life coach she taught me to "bag it, barter it, or better it." This way we are only focusing on doing the things we love! It works! Yeah!

Carrying big bag is soooo painful. You said it perfect. I always go to the reception and think - wow I look like sh*t.

on a different note:

why don't you have your videographer friend come along with you to a few weddings and make a "how I shoot weddings" dvd for us. I am sure we will love it.
