Promise is Awesome!

You have to go checkout my new friend Promise Tangeman! Wow! She's amazing! I'm so inspired by her and I think she probably has the best blog I've ever seen. I can't stop looking at it.

It's like creativity on crack.

There is EVERYTHING. Inspiration - Encouragement - Resources ... and just lots of good stuff!

I really liked her post on how to feel miserable as an artist. I think all of us have felt this way at times and she really nails why.

GO GO GO....stop wasting your time on my blog.

Yes- very cool chick.
She's one of those Kelly Rae Roberts, Marrakesh Maryam types: can do no wrong; swimming in that endless well of creativity.

Can I just say that David Jay really is who he says he is. He lives out his passion for art, freeing the artist and encouraging young/new artists to go after it; dream it, create it, draw it, write it, capture it and take it to the world.

I'm brian, promise's new husband (haha...that word is still weird to say).

Anyways, I hope that DJ's post on Promise reminds those of us, dreaming to succeed with our art, of how we should use our platform however big or small it might be.

I appreciated that DJ is wildly successful, yet, wildly encouraging and empowering in the midst of good things coming his way. It's a new day of art when artists can celebrate the beauty of life and art in other people; known or unknown. It disarms the self-centered potential of the art world and empowers a place of celebrating our God given uniqueness in each other. It's fresh and life giving; this is the art of relationships and I would venture to say it's the most important art form.

DJ, thanks for the way that you've encouraged Promise and I this week. You're a gem and my hope is that you're vision, dreams, art and mission would grow bigger wings. We need more DJ's in the world. Looking forward to connecting, for real, in the near future.

Respectfully,
Brian Wurzell

YESSSSSSSSSSS

Promise is WONDERFUL.

Her work is such a reflection of her life. She LOVES Jesus. She LOVES to create. She LOVES people.

Brian isn't that bad either. :)
