It's been a week since I've been able to stay at my house but I'm back!
It's incredible to be home. There is more damage than expected to the
house and the insurance company is actually calling it "extreme
damage" but really I'm incredibly thankful. The majority is in the
yard and the kitchen. The wood floor in the kitchen got warped because
the electricity was out and the refrigerator leaked water.
I'm gonna snap some more pics from my neighborhood tomorrow.

glad to hear it bro. before i ran out of there i took one last look at that view and said a prayer that we would be able to see it again!

So thankful that the freedom house is standing. And nothing beats that view...
No matter what the view would not have burned down deyl. ;P
But even if it [the view] had burned, we would have rebuilt it - it's in the policy.
stoked your house made it through, I just made the drive back into the westmont area and behind your house and onto your street Wed. and man... that was GNARLY to see.
it must feel especially good to finally be back in your own bed again.
