Where'd you go

My buddy Mark put this video together and it really made me think about why I do what I do. Why I travel so much. Why I sacrifice things that I want.

Anyway...enough thinking for the week.

Oh..I really like that song even though it's so sad!! Great video!

The fact is is that it's God's calling on your life!!! He will fill in the gaps:)

HAHA...I guess I only ever listened to the edited version of that song...LOL

DJ, how powerful! I can so relate to your sentiments. How often am I at my computer - neglecting my husband and health and community and spiritual life! We work around the clock for our brides and grooms - risking the stability of our own relationships. May God help us find balance! May we bless others with our gifts and preserve what's most meaningful to us - HOME.

Oops! Shouldn't have played that at the breakfast table with my kids! How ironic I was watching that video WITH my kids? LOL It's a real paradox...video about absent parents...filled with vulgarities rendering the video unsuitable for toddler's ears...maybe that was the artist's intent?

Oh my...when did I become such an overprotective prude? I guess it's about time to go explain the birds and the bees to my 3 year old...

DJ The Video made me cry almost. I had a dad that wasnt around alot, and didnt really get involved in my life, and other things had happened between us. I cant imagine being gone all the time especially if you have a family like i do. I have a wife and 3 boys, and I dont think I could handle it being gone all the time like you are, but God calls us to do what he wants us to do, and he takes care of us in that time. Thanks for sharing this with us.
