Live in Harmony

At the Freedom house we live in harmony with nature. Checkout this video of me coming to the rescue when a poor hummingbird couldn't find its way outside. Very awesome.

  3. Oh MAN dude how many people have ever had a hummingbird in their hand? Seriously! And then have a video camera in the other hand? I seriously wonder if this has ever been done before. That was so cool you should've kept it and named it Ben.

  7. WOW... awesome catch! You are one with nature: "Be the bird!" Ok, so it wasn't as quick as Mr. Miagi catching a fly with chopsticks, but it was still pretty impressive!

  10. dude,
if that's not a metaphor for what you do for people, I don't know what is. i've spent way too much of my life flapping at a glass wall ... the fresh air is pretty awesome.

  12. GOOD COMMENT DANE! That should be the demo video for the freedom club! Here little buddy, be free!

I really like the part where you almost had him in your fingertips. It is rare to see one perch, and I've never ever heard of one landing in someone's hand!

  20. That made my heart glad!

The other day, I met a bride and a groom at the church I'll be shooting them at, and there was a bird stuck inside... i tried everything to get him out! The ceilings were too high in the doorway he was stuck in, so I wasn't able to reach him! It made me so sad!

I really loved this video...so sweet of you.. I can't believe it stayed in your hand... that's awesome! I'm not the only person chasing birds, ha:)

  26. Camera in one hand. Hummingbird in the other hand. AND you open the door. That's what I call multi-talented.

David Jay: photographer; business man; inspirational speaker; now hummingbird whisperer. :-)
